RNID is the biggest charity here for the 12 million people in the UK who are deaf or
have hearing loss. We’ve been helping people with hearing loss for more than
100 years, and changed the lives of millions since we started.

Our four key areas are inclusion, health, employment and research. We want deaf
people and those who have hearing loss and tinnitus to enjoy access to the same
information, spaces and services as anyone else. We want to help people identify
their hearing loss early on, and help them to take action sooner. We want to help
leaders understand how to recruit and support people with hearing loss into their
organisations, and help them excel when they get there. And we want to help more
medical researchers discover and develop new treatments for hearing loss and
tinnitus.

We’re passionate about making life more inclusive for our diverse communities,
whether that’s campaigning for better access to subtitles, making sure BSL users
can access emergency services in their first language, or support hearing aid users
face to face across the UK.
